Dear Parents, AsSalaamu Alaikum….

1- Please check the results of your children’s spelling test last week on page 4.

2- Pay Attention to the rule of merging double consonants in Arabic (Shaddah). Shaddah looks like the English letter ” w”, it is written this way to avoid repeat writing the same letter twice. Only when the first consonant letter is silent (Saakin) and the second is vowelised (carries a Haraka such as FatHah, Dham’mah or Kas’rah).

3- Write page 5 twice, with attention to the vowels (Harakaat- diacritics).

4- Practice and get ready for a spelling test as well as the meaning of the words in English.
